From the Apartments La Villana you can set out to do all kinds of activities such as skiing in the nearby ski resort of Alto Campoo, hill walking on the mountains of Palencia, going on a car trip following the Romanesque art, golfing and many other adventure sports.
Starting from the apartments you can go on foot following innumerable routes of diverse difficulty but all of them properly signposted. The most nearby route is the one that runs from the same village (Revelillas) to the viewpoint of Valcabao (9 km), located in the mooreland La Lora. It is a pleasant ascending path towards the limits of Burgos, crossing a group of magnificent beech trees.
If you prefer getting to know the valley by car we suggest a route exploring the Romanesque art and the singular churches of the area. Valderredible, municipality in which we are located, is the area of Spain with the greatest concentration of Romanesque art. The route can be made in one day more or less where you will be visiting different places like for example Villanueva de la Nía, Arroyuelos, Cadalso, San Martín de Elines until arriving at Orbaneja del Castillo and therefore going into the canyon of the river Ebro.
The river Ebro provides a great volume of water all year long that makes it possible to practise different adventure sports such as canyoning, rafting, hydrospeed, descending with canoes, kayak and more. Thanks to agreements with several companies you will be able to hire any activity without going out of your apartment.
